Provide voters with comprehensive, nonpartisan information about the contests or measures on their ballot in an easy-to-use presentation.
Provide a means for candidates to publish information about themselves and their candidacy directly to voters.

A School Election will be held on August 30, 2022. Residents of Coeur d'Alene School District #271 and Plummer-Worley Jt. School District #44 will have a Levy Question on the ballot.
Absentee ballots can be requested at voteidaho.gov or at the Elections Department, which is located at 1808 N 3rd St in Coeur d'Alene. The absentee ballot request deadline for the August School Election is August 19th. This deadline is set by state statute and allows time for both mailing and returning of the absentee ballot.
Open Voter Registration closes on August 5th for the August 30th School Election.

Alternatively, paper forms are available at the Kootenai County Elections Department or can be printed here.
Absentee request forms can be dropped off, mailed, emailed, or faxed to the Elections Department. The last day to request a mail-in absentee ballot is August 19 for the August 30 School Election.
Early Voting will be available at the County Elections Office starting August 15, 2022. The Elections Department is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
