What are your three priority issues and why:
The first priority for Idaho is our economy. We must resist efforts to raise taxes, work with our current businesses to retain them and to enhance their probability of success and we must recruit new businesses to Idaho to continue to diversify our economy and jobs. Secondly we much continue to send a consistent message to the federal government that they continue to overstep their constitutional authority. This issue has become more than principal, the federal government is collecting far too much of our financial resources and then wasting those funds. The federal government does an unacceptable job managing our natural resources when Idaho could be managing the resources much more effectivly and efficiently. The third priority for Idaho is to manage government within a shrinking pool of revenue. We need to assure that we provide essential services such as public safety and education as we move out of this recession.
