Personal Statement: It has been a humbling experience to serve on the Idaho Supreme Court, to develop case law requiring open government, and to establish a framework to protect water rights. I have more to contribute. My experience in water law will be invaluable in getting the north Idaho water adjudication underway and in resolving important water management conflicts that will affect the entire state. It is not within the portfolio of a Supreme Court justice to tinker in legislative work. If re-elected I will keep my focus on promoting the rule of law and running a well-functioning judicial system. |
