I was home schooled by my mother thru out most of my youth, I do not hold any degrees as of now but do have small business experience thru our family business which I intend to use to help guide all decisions I would make if elected to the office of Mayor

Describe your employment history for the past 10 years including dates: 

I am presently working at a call center for Coldwater Creek however I was one of the many people who have been laid off in recent months; being laid off from Kimball Office in Post Falls.I also assisted with the family business(a health food store) which has since been dissolved.I am a working class person which I feel will be good in public office because I have personal experience and know just how important jobs and putting food on the table really is.I intend to also let this experence guide every decision I would make as well. 

What are your three priority issues and why: 300 word limit

1.Cutting back the cities budget by closing out URD districts which are no longer attracting business but are now just using tax payer dollars for little or now advantage to the city and it's residents,I would also like to take a step back and see what is not necessary such as I was recently told that part of the cites reason for increasing taxes would be to buy 3 new police cars,I think this should have never even been included as a possibility at this time.

2.Bring jobs to Post Falls I intend to do this by actively recruiting business that are growing,which are out there. I'd love to see at least 1 or 2 major renewable energy companies move or open their doors in Post Falls .I do also plan to continue working with our partners such as the Chamber of Commerce to pin point possible leads.We need more jobs in the industrial sector, but ones that pay decent as well, I'd like to see the area around Beck Road become an Industrial hub not just for Post Falls but for the entire Northwest 

3.Transportation I want to partner with the other governments of the area to study building a bigger and better public transit system,I'd like to see some sort of bus connection between Post Falls and the Spokane area because this would help people get back to work.I'd also support light rail for the region I'd like to see light rail go to a public vote as early as next election because I fell it is needed keep the area growing.I'd also like to see more trails in Post Falls to give people an alternative to cars,I think some sort of north/south trail would be a big help and create a great recreational opportunity also.
